1 Corinthians 16:13-14 "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love."

South Africa

There has been hundreds of years of mission work to most of the continent of Africa. Since the early 1900's the main focus has been Sub-Saharan Africa. Places like Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Cameroon, etc. have really reaped the benefits of the missionaries and other humanitarian organizations.

With this being said, South Africa has really become the forgotten country in Africa. Places like Johannesburg and Cape Town boast the highest crime rates in the world. South Africa as a country has an average life span of under 50 years of age!! They also carry the third highest A.I.D.S rate in the world with the second most deaths in the world occurring from the virus. In this post-apartheid country, the only thing that is going to keep together the blacks, whites and coloreds is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our goal number one goal is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to a nation that is falling in this postmodern world. When we as a people look to our intellect and our own skills for salvation, we have fallen. God said there is no other way to get to Him than Jesus Christ.

We ask you to pray about how you can help reach this lost country for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that the Lord would open your hearts, minds and Spirit to the things of Him. We pray that you would think often of the people in South Africa. Those who are struggling with A.I.D.S. or trying to fit in to a society that they were shunned from not so long ago. Please pray for a revival in South Africa, that God's hand would work in a mighty and powerful way to seek and save the lost.

Grace and Peace,

Bob
