What we do in Africa.

Right now we are in Cape Town, South Africa. We are church planters, if we need a title.

We started in Uganda, East Africa in January 2010 running Far Reaching Ministries guest house operations. We took care of the day to day operations of the ministry in Uganda and also supported the ministry in Southern Sudan. We were there for two years serving the Lord.

Throughout that two years, we knew that the Lord had called us to something else but for the time being He wanted us to be there. Looking back it was to learn a number of things, none more important than being totally submissive to Jesus...His slave.

During our stay in Uganda we had a unique opportunity to travel around a bit. We went to Sudan, Ghana and finally South Africa. We were praying about where to plant a church. Our hearts were not burdened until we came to Cape Town, South Africa. The Lord has called us here to reach the lost and to disciple His people.

Now we are in the beginning stages of planting a church. We are praying (a lot!!) and hoping that all of this works out in our Lord's perfect will. We have so many hills to climb but we serve a God that is not only bigger, but He is the one who created those hills.

We are optimistic and joyful for the future. We know that no matter what comes, the Lord is in control.
